On Saturday mornings I come up with a list of mundane chores so that my children think that the outing is so boring that they 'let me' go off by myself. This morning I successfully added 'buy a oil filter for the motorcycle' to my list of other mundane tasks.
Since no one wanted to come with me to the 3 or 4 tasks, I was on my Savage with an excuse to go to the motorcycle dealer to look at bikes and get a filter for the next oil change.
$9 + tax for an offical Suzuki oil filter. I got home and looked at a catalog and saw a Fram for 4.99 and another brand for 2.99. Asumming that I did not want to buy anything else, I figure you add shipping costs and the $9 is not too bad. Plus I got a ride in.
Nice and hot, even the wind was hot. .. and not a single stutter out of my Houston breed Savage. What hot weather problems???
So hogryder, where do I get the $1.69 filters?

PS. I also had some interesting conversation at the dealer about synthetic vs. organic oil.. But nothing that has not already been said on this forum.
